They are designed to eliminate outside noises by reducing sound by up to 40dB. Prolonged exposure to excessive noise can cause premature irreversible hearing loss and tinnitus so customised hearing protection is vital. Musicians earplugs retain the clarity of complex sounds whilst making it softer.
